1. Acceptance of these Terms
By downloading, accessing or using View Stories (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. What the App provides
View Stories may provide tools for searching and viewing publicly accessible profile information and media, viewing certain public stories, posts, photos or videos, downloading eligible public media, saving app history, and using other Free or Pro features made available from time to time.
Features may change, become unavailable, be limited by region, or depend on public information being accessible from supported sources.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, and at least the minimum age required by law in your jurisdiction, to use the App. If you are not legally able to agree to these Terms, a parent or legal guardian must do so where permitted by law.
4. App accounts and access
The App may work without a traditional account by using an anonymous app identifier. Optional account features, including Sign in with Apple, may be available for account linking or other functionality.
You are responsible for keeping access to your device and any linked account secure.
5. Public content and downloads
The App is intended to access only content that is publicly available through supported sources. It does not grant you ownership of third-party content or permission to use content in ways that violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights.
You are responsible for ensuring that your viewing, downloading, saving, sharing or other use of content is lawful and permitted by the content owner and applicable law.
We do not guarantee that any profile, story, post, video, image or other content will remain available or downloadable.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, stalking, abusive or privacy-invasive purposes;
- attempt to access private, restricted or non-public information through the App;
- use automation, bots, scripts or scraping systems that place unreasonable load on the App or bypass usage limits;
- circumvent security controls, subscription checks, rate limits or technical restrictions;
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
- use the App to infringe intellectual-property or other legal rights; or
- interfere with the App, its infrastructure or other users.
7. Free features, Pro subscriptions and purchases
The App may offer free features supported by advertising and paid Pro features through auto-renewing subscriptions or other in-app purchases.
- Prices, billing periods, trial availability and included features are shown in the App before purchase.
- Payment is charged through the App Store.
- Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless canceled through your Apple account in accordance with the applicable cancellation rules.
- You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription through Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Where available, Restore Purchases can restore an eligible purchase made with the same Apple account.
- Refunds are handled under App Store policies and applicable law.
8. Third-party services
The App may rely on third-party content sources, analytics, authentication, subscription, notification, advertising, hosting or infrastructure providers. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, content, policies or actions.
9. Our intellectual property
The App, its original interface, branding, software, design and other materials owned by us are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the App under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
Third-party names, trademarks and content remain the property of their respective owners.
10. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, limit or discontinue all or part of the App for maintenance, security, legal, technical or business reasons. We may also require an updated version to continue using the App.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free results, the accuracy or completeness of third-party public information, permanent availability of content, or compatibility with every device or source.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business, or losses resulting from third-party content, services or your use of downloaded material.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
13. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, abused the service, created a security risk, or where suspension is required for legal or technical reasons. You may stop using the App at any time.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the App, our practices or legal requirements change. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, subject to mandatory consumer protections and jurisdictional rights that apply where you live. Nothing here removes rights that cannot legally be waived.
